FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS AND TIMELINE

WHAT KIND OF CHURCH WILL BE STARTED?

The vision is to start a church that will reach people who have given up on God and don’t yet know God for who he really is. The goal is that every week, through high-impact services, they would paint a picture of a great and magnificent God in a part of the world where the predominant culture believes that He is irrelevant, weak and make-believe.

Once the church begins meeting regularly, it will most likely be a portable church. They hope to meet in a middle school in the target town.

The structure of the church will involve a weekly gathering with worship and teaching as well as many opportunities for the community to come together, to serve, grow and be mobilized to impact the world.

To declare the praise of Him who called you out of darkness and into his marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9)

WHERE EXACTLY WILL THE CHURCH PLANT BE?

They are currently considering Burlington, MA and the bordering towns as the target area. Burlington is 12-miles from the heart of downtown Boston and serves as a hub for work and shopping in the area. This area around the inner ring road of Boston (the I-95, also commonly called Route 128) is known as the “128 Tech Corridor”, drawing lots of people to work in the area at companies like Oracle, Keurig, iRobot, Raytheon, TripAdvisor and hundreds of others. It also is home to the largest mall in Massachusetts - Burlington Mall (where Mall Cop was filmed!).
